“Teen Pregnancy Prevention: Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health”
Youth development professionals can have a great impact on reducing sexual risk-taking behaviors and impact adolescents’ decisions around sex. This session provides up-to-the minute update on teen pregnancy and birth rates along with the latest strategies and interventions to help teens delay intercourse and consistently practice safer sex if they choose to be sexually active.

General TA #2: “Psychological First Aid/ Youth and Trauma”

Unfortunately, young people experience and are exposed to a wide variety of traumatic experiences. These experiences impact the development and interactions observe in the youth we serve. This session focuses on the impact of child traumatic stress on the safety and healthy development of children and youth, strategies to identify these symptoms and resources to address them.
